Slow cooker focaccia

I found this recipe on a group I’m apart of and thought I’d copy it over here so I can’t lose it. It was delicious and worked so well, I was really surprised. My oven is a bit dodgy and tends to burn while not cooking properly, so I’ve been trying out a few slow cooker things lately.

Slow Cooker Focaccia

1.5 cups SR flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup water
1/2 teaspoon dried mixed herbs

Mix together well, pour into lined cooker. Top with toppings of your choice.

I cooked mine on high for 2 hours (the recipe I followed said to pre-heat the slow cooker first, which I forgot to do, so I gave it extra time) and then popped it under the oven grill for 10 minutes to brown the top. I used a bit of garlic and grated cheese as my topping because the fridge is a bit short on ingredients, but it was delicious.

  1. That sounds so good. My oven is the same and breads tend to go from under cooked and soggy to dried out and gross in about 30 seconds. I might have try this recipe out! 🙂

    1. How do you make all those amazing cakes with a dodgy oven?! I’ve given up on baking except for very very important occasions and then I have a back-up plan.
