Welcome to the first day of Holidailies! If you haven’t visited here before, hello! I’m Alissa. I redid my About page not too long ago so you can go and check it out if you want.
If you are a regular here and you’re wondering what Holidailies is, it’s pretty simple. My present to you over the December-ish holiday period to give you lots of good content to read. So I’ll be updating frequently, and hopefully with stuff that you’ll enjoy.
If you have your own blog/online journal/whatever the kids are calling it these days, it’s not too late to sign up for Holidailies. There’s also a portal where content gets posted when blogs are updated, so it’s a good place to find some new reading material. Go over and have a look around!
Hello Alissa, I’ve read your About Me page and am very pleased to meet you. I used to live in Australia but never in Queensland. You must be heading towards the thick of summer. I have done Holidailies on and off since 2007 and been blogging on and off since 2005, so not as long as you.
Yes it is summer! With hot humid days and storms, and rain. So very different to your winter.
Hi from Holidailes!
Hello Melanie! Thanks for visiting.
When I lived in Australia I longed for the cold and magic of snow. The first time I remember seeing snow was on the Blue Mountains in NSW even though I was born in the UK and in the coldest winter most remember. Now that I am older a bit more warmth does not go amiss!
That is true, I love our winters, that we can still be outside and enjoying ourselves.
I just signed up for Hollidailies a few minutes ago! I like to do things at the last possible minute, apparently.
Holidailies used to traditionally start on the 6th because we were all slackers about signing up and getting started, so you’re not even late yet!
