I feel like I’ve written this before, but I can’t find the blog post, so here we go again. Forgive me if this sounds familiar.

Recently we decided to go into Southbank for a swim.

We had intended to go to the beach pool and spend most of our time there, but what happened is that we wound up in the creek play area. We really enjoy this part – shallow, lots of rocks to move around and build dams with, and a splash pad type area further down.

It is mostly shaded and usually not crowded. It’s a great place for city kids to get some nature play happening!
