Why yes, I am stretching this four night trip out into a million blog posts, thank you for asking! We chose this time to stay in Eurong Second Valley. So far we have camped at Central Station, stayed at Kingfisher Bay Resort and Eurong Beach Resort, and this time decided to rent a house at Eurong.
Here are some photos taken around the Eurong area. The beach wasn’t that great for kids – because there wasn’t much of it, cars needed to drive all over it, even up in the top dry sand area (of which there wasn’t much) which means that there wasn’t anywhere safe to play. And there was a bluebottles and jellyfish in the water. And I am sure that there are always sharks lurking, and also your first stop if you get sucked out into the ocean would be New Caledonia if you’re lucky.

In the other valley at Eurong is the Eurong Beach Resort. There is a general store, bakery, and restaurant at the resort that is general access. We walked there from the second valley a few times to visit our friends and to get an ice block from the shops and it is a quick walk through the sand dunes from one side of Eurong to the other (and you don’t have to go outside the dingo fence to do that walk).
